there's an audible pad in there dood, but i get what your saying. my opinion is that this track is perfect as is. the opinion that this could use more instruments would simply lead to another project. i can hear all sorts of things that could accompany this but for what you were going for everything is sexily done. gratz dude :)

Like I said below, I actually have another piece that utilizes this instrumentation but with many more instruments and percussion; but it is a very different project. fuck me that rhythm is delicious. my opinion, that reesey bass is a little louder than the kit should have been but the sounds are still really clean. that measure of 7 right before the chorus is a sexy change up. those horns are a nice touch too. good jorb mate :)

damn, where was this when i did my drum/ piano competition a while back? slick piano melodies and fancy time work. 2 hours isn't a lot of time but the melody/ rhythm is so damn strong. my only complaint is how messy that drum kit sounds. you might be able to clean up the sound just by using a different drum kit. if you want to get all fancy you might not mind investing some time in layering in some additional kicks/ snares. your choice. again, great piece mister.
